ERSA opens State of the Sector Survey

The Employment Related Services Association (ERSA), the representative body for the employment support sector, has today launched its first State of the Sector Survey, sponsored by Randstad welfare to work. The survey is open to any organisations delivering employment support, whether ERSA members or not.

The State of the Sector Survey aims to gauge the confidence of the extremely diverse employment support sector, with includes organisations such as housing associations, local authorities, specialist charities and multinational public services providers. The Survey also seeks sector views on key policy issues, including the impact of welfare reform on delivering employment support.

The Survey will run until 27 March. All respondents who leave their details will be emailed the results of the survey and will be entered into a prize draw to win a set of tickets to an ERSA Get to Grips Seminar of their choice.

The Survey will take approximately 10 – 15 minutes to fill in and it is recommended that it is completed by a member of the senior management team working in an operational or business development role. The Survey will close on 27 March.

The survey has been developed with the support of ERSA members, and overseen by the ERSA Supply Chain Forum.

Richard Brooks, Chair of the ERSA Supply Chain Forum and Head of Employability and Skills, RBLI, said:

“This survey will provide an evidence base to allow ERSA to articulate, on behalf of the sector, how to build high quality employment support in the future, supporting both jobseekers and the organisations that work with them.”
