ERSA welcomes the latest Labour Market Statistics which show that almost a million more people are in work than the previous year, 2012-13.

ERSA is also pleased to see the role of the employment support sector recognised by government, for the first time, in the official Statistics

Schemes such as the government’s Work Programme have contributed to the biggest fall in long-term unemployment since 1998, down by 166,000 on the year.
