ERSA welcomes ONS Labour Market Statistics

ERSA welcomes the ONS Labour Market Statistics published today that show the employment rate, at 73.3% , in the UK is at the highest rate ever.

This is good news for the individuals who have moved in to work and good news for the UK economy.

The Work Programme has played a key part in supporting the rise in employment, with over 680,000 people moving into a job while on the programme, since it began in June 2011 until December 2014.
