The Learning and Work Institute is accepting applications to help fund providers who would like to create free online learning content for virtual learners.

In response to current events, we have adapted our approach to deliver a virtual Adult Learners’ Week to keep Wales safe and learning at home. Covid-19 has forced many learning providers to adapt their training and adopt digital methods at speed, where learning online has presented different challenges from learning in the classroom.

This year, our Adult Learners’ Week festival will be delivered through online tasters, films, live events and tutorials in preparation for a changing environment of more online and blended learning.

Our Innovation Grant Fund for Adult Learners’ Week (21 – 27 September 2020) offers support for providers of adult learning to develop content for virtual learners.

We have adapted our Grant fund process this year to support providers working in Wales who deliver community-based adult learning. Grants of up to £750 are available for the creation of free bitesize tasters, learning events, masterclasses or podcasts and to develop content that can be adapted to an online environment.

The grant will be helpful for organisations looking to develop content for new and existing virtual learners.

If you would like to apply, please download the Application form and Guidance below for completion.

The deadline for application: 14 August 2020.

If you have any questions about the grant please contact: alwevents@learningandwork.org.uk
