Engaging mothers, exploring challenges and sharing ideas to support them into sustained employment.
11th September 2024.
In light of the new Government, it is a great time to share the experience of the Women’s Forum in getting mothers into employment and share good practice. The forum shares the challenges that mothers face in moving into and sustaining work and put forward tried and tested solutions.
Mothers are a significant group on Universal Credit and risk long-term unemployment without the right support. Mothers who are economically inactive, and whose families are facing the cost-of-living crisis, want to return to work but need assistance to upskill and to find flexible employment.
Women’s Forum members will share their specialist knowledge on how to reach out to unemployed and economically inactive mothers and discuss ways to maintain engagement and support these women into sustained employment.
This practical and informative one hour webinar presents key information to share with parliamentarians and policy makers on how to support mothers to reach their potential and support economic growth.
The Women’s Forum is a group of women specialist organisations created to champion mothers in the skills and employment sector. Made up of Successful Mums, Belina Grow, Women’s Work Lab and Transform Lives.
