Elizabeth was appointed ERSA CEO in November 2019 with a background rooted in the employment support provider sector. Her first sector job in 1983 was as a business advisor, to which she added employment advice, and then delivery of training, before moving into managing contracts in 1989. Up to 2019 she managed the delivery of employment support, enterprise support (including social enterprise) and training programmes, delivered with 23 different funding streams.
Since 1986 she has contributed to employment policy and has a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management. 2023 marks Elizabeth’s fortieth year working in and for the employment services sector.

Henry joined ERSA in 2021 through the Kickstart Scheme as a Labour Market and Policy Researcher. Before this, he studied History and Politics at the University of Liverpool and helped co-found the Professional Boxers’ Affiliation. His educational and professional experience makes him a valuable member of the ERSA team.

Jack joined ERSA in March 2023. With a strong academic background in International Relations and Politics, after earning his degree he completed a Masters degree in International Political Economy, both from the University of Sheffield. He is using his knowledge and research skills to contribute to the organisation’s policy work, with a particular focus on Youth Employment.

Alicia joined ERSA in April 2024. After studying languages at Lancaster University, she completed a Masters degree in International Relations at the University of Sheffield. Using this academic background, she is contributing to ERSA’s policy research and events work, focusing on youth employment.
