Andrea has worked in the employment, training, and equalities sector since 1989. She founded ELITE Supported Employment in 1994 around the core belief that every person should have equal opportunities when seeking employment.

Working closely with Welsh Government and DWP representatives, Andrea helps tailor services for disabled people. She co-chairs the Regional Access to Work group in Wales; represents the sector for the Welsh Government’s Ministerial Advisory Board for Economic Affairs, the Colegau Cymru Steering Group, and the Disabled Person’s Working Group; and has established three social enterprises.

Her forward thinking has led to the implementation of innovative pilots including supported apprenticeships, supported traineeships, and supported shared apprenticeships, funded by the Welsh Government.

She is passionate about inclusive employment and how it aids the development of thriving and healthy communities.
